Here are some of the things we discussed and determined:
* Each member will bring one or two book suggestions for the next month's read at each meeting.
* Meetings will be held each month on a Saturday from 2:00-4:00pm.
* Each member will host one meeting per month. The host can choose to host the meeting in her home or at a restaurant or other place. If the host holds the meeting in her home, she will provide drinks and each person will bring a food item (potluck). If the host holds the meeting at a restaurant, she will make the reservations and buy the first round of drinks. Each person will pay for their own food items. Jen Brocato was kind enough to bring a restaurant.com certificate for our first meeting (Thanks Jen!!). This is a suggestion for hosts if she chooses a restaurant.
* Monthly meetings will be themed around the book we are reading. The theme could be the restaurant chosen, the drinks provided, the food, etc...
* The host will provide the location for the meeting to Kristi at least two weeks prior to the scheduled meeting. Kristi will send out all emails, invites, reminders, etc...
* All members are expected to respond to emails within 48 hours.
* There will be no children or husbands at meetings, unless of course the host holds the meeting in her home.
* Members should not discuss the book in between meetings.
* Each member will bring at least one question and/or discussion idea to each meeting.
* We will focus on a different Genre each month.
